VENUE - Jokers Comedy Club is held at The Manor Ballroom.
Although there are no specific parking spaces reserved for disabled people in The Manor Ballroom car park, we get there early ourselves in order to set up and would be more than happy to reserve a suitable space (one with plenty of space at the side) for you. Please just let us know in advance and we'll do so.
Alternatively, the nearest public spaces for blue badge holders are in Old Foundry Road, a short distance from us. See Ipswich Access Guide/Disabled Parking Spaces for more details.
At the request of the venue, our normal entrance is through the rear doors by the car park. The main route to the function hall from this entrance has several steps and is not suitable for wheelchair access.
However, we would be delighted to arrange alternative access either via the side door to the function hall (this will depend on how busy the hall is at the time), or via the front door to the venue, which has a ramp entrance, and from there a flat route into the function hall. We just need someone to come to the rear entrance and tell us that we need to open the front door.
The venue has dedicated disabled toilet facilities.
TICKETS AND SEATING
Jokers tends to sell out, and we try to be entirely fair with our seating policy, so that those who buy early get the best seats. We would therefore encourage anyone with specific needs to buy early.
In order for us to seat you in the most appropriate location (which is a nice way of saying 'so you can get to the toilet with the minimum of fuss'!), we would ask that you let us know in advance that you're coming, and what your requirements/preferences are.
